In July-August 2005, I took a trip to Norway. After five days in Oslo, I embarked on a two-week tour aboard the M.S. National Geographic Endeavour.

The first week at sea featured early-morning bear sightings, late-night Scrabble madness, and spectacular arctic scenery as we journeyed through the land of the midnight sun. During the second week we visited the Lofoton Islands and many spectacular Norwegian fjords.
